Our entry tier — small, smart, and complete. The same standards as every other cottage at Digantaa, in a more compact footprint.
The Tesia is our most affordable cottage — and a deliberate one. We did not want a 'cheap room' option in the collection. We wanted an honest one. The Tesia is therefore exactly that: smaller, simpler, and priced for travellers who are spending money on the experience of being here rather than on the cottage itself. The linens, toiletries, finishes, and service are identical to the Yuhina. Only the room size and view orientation are different.
Three hundred and twenty square feet is enough for a queen bed, a small desk, a comfortable bathroom, and a chair to read in. It is not enough for a separate seating area, a balcony, or a walk-in wardrobe — and we have not pretended otherwise. The Tesia is honest about being small. What it is not is poorly made. Every fitting, every fabric, every fixture is the same standard as the Elite. The price reflects what's been omitted, not what's been compromised.
If you're visiting Digantaa for two nights, plan to be on hikes or at Oregano for most of the day, and want to keep the budget for the experiences rather than the room — the Tesia is the right cottage. It is also our most popular choice for solo travellers, who often prefer the smaller, more contained footprint. Many guests upgrade to a Yuhina or Myna for return visits. Few regret choosing a Tesia for the first.
